I really love everything Pottery Barn sells, I don't however love the prices. I saw this lamp today at a thrift store and it reminded me of something that Pottery Barn would have....just slightly altered. I thought it was sort of a combination of these two lamps... So I took it apart, cleaned out the inside of the glass and painted everything that was 80's green to black. I think it came out beautifully!! Not bad for $10.00
I love the rustic feel of it... pretty much the theme throughout my new home. I am suddenly obessed with lamps and this is something similar to the overpriced ones out there. Great job!
Oooo, great find, I love those pottery barn lamps and have always wanted one but they are way too expensive. This is such a great find and you cleaned it up so nicely!!
Love it! I also love finding great things I can re-do at thrift shops! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great redo - just the thing for a PB lover.
ReplyDeleteVery, very nice! Can't wait to see your next re-do!
